On The Town Jupiter Screening

“On the Town in the Palm Beaches" is the befitting first joint production between WPBT2 and WXEL South Florida PBS. We are very proud of the vibrant communities and neighborhoods we reach and serve –some with famous tourist attractions, others with hidden gems – South Floridians are sure to love this fast-paced series about people and places that are just around the corner!

A screening event of the first episode of On the Town in The Palm Beaches, featuring the town of Jupiter, took place on Thursday, June 22nd at the Performing Arts Academy of Jupiter. The event began at 6:30 PM with a cocktail reception sponsored by Chef Z, Cabot Cheese, Guanabanas and and Mediterranean Market & Deli, followed by a thirty minute screening of the program and a Q & A with host, Frank Licari and producers of the program.

In this episode, Frank Licari visits the town of Jupiter. On the northern end of Palm Beach County you’ll find an out of this world beach town that’s home to a world class regional theater, a historic lighthouse and some of the best paddling in South Florida. Join On the Town in The Palm Beaches as our host Frank Licari takes a fast-paced romp through the best that Jupiter has to offer. He’ll throw out the first pitch with the Marlins during Spring training at Roger Dean Stadium, and he’ll cook up some tasty vegan dishes with a local chef, and we’ll even get Frank on a paddle board to find his zen with some sunset paddleboard yoga.
