We had an incredible time celebrating the 12th season of our Emmy Award-winning program Art Loft at the Actors' Playhouse in Coral Gables on Tuesday, February 13th. The event opened with a pre-screening reception in the iconic lobby of Actors' Playhouse. Featured activations included food by CrepeMakers, a mural activation led by Vida Sofia of RawFigsPopUp, a photobooth, music by MiamiBloco, and the debut of South Florida PBS' original immersive VR art experience. This VR experience took guests through a 3D art museum where they learned about the life and work of Rafael Soriano and were then invited to create their very own 3D art.

After the screening, Art Loft producer Melissa Harmon led a talk-back with David Arisco, Artistic Director, at the Actors’ Playhouse, and suOm and Brian, co-founders of the musical collective MiamiBloco.
