Miami, FL - South Florida PBS (WPBT & WXEL) is honored to announce seven 2022 Suncoast Emmy® Awards for programs produced by South Florida PBS staff and partners. Winners were announced at the 2022 Suncoast Emmy® Awards gala in Orlando, Florida on December 10, 2022.

“We are very honored to have been recognized for our work and particularly proud of the award for Diversity/Equity/Inclusion in short form content as it is a significant validation of South Florida PBS’ commitment to these goals,” stated Dolores Fernandez Alonso, president and CEO of South Florida PBS.

The Suncoast Chapter of The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences is the standard-bearer for excellence in the television industry and the gatekeeper of the prestigious regional EMMY® Awards in the Suncoast Region. The Suncoast Chapter represents the best and brightest television and media professionals from all disciplines of the industry and from all the Suncoast region’s television markets.
