Miami FL— South Florida PBS is pleased to announce that it has received a $5,000 grant from the Coral Gables Community Foundation. These funds will support the Art Loft program covering Coral Gables Gallery Night, which is scheduled to broadcast on WPBT May 1st at 7:30 PM and on WXEL May 3rd at 5:30 PM.

Art Loft will produce a segment profiling the April 6th, 2018 Coral Gables Gallery Night. This episode consists of a host piece filmed entirely on location. It will include an interview with a representative of the event as well as footage of the host delivering the introductions to segments, interviewing people attending Gallery Night, and riding the Coral Gables trolley. The Coral Gables Gallery night segment will make up one-third of an entire Art Loft episode.

“We are proud to be part of a community that offers such a vibrant art scene and rich cultural resources,” said Joyce Belloise, Vice President of Content and Community Partnerships, South Florida PBS. “It is our mission to highlight and celebrate the artistic endeavors happening in our own back yard, while offering viewers a 'front row seat' experience.”

The Coral Gables Community Foundation awards annual grants through a competitive application and review process to non-profit organizations that address issues such as Education, Arts and Culture, Historic Preservation and Social and Health Services and that serve those who live, work, learn or play in Coral Gables.
