Miami-Dade County Resources

Miami-Dade County Learn2Swim

Swim classes are offered at County pool locations. They are available year-round, depending on demand, in two-week sessions. Swim classes are 30 to 45 minutes long. The cost of swim lessons varies from $10 to $60 per session depending on the pool location.
 

City of Miami Learn-to-Swim Program

Lessons are offered year-round for $45 for 8 lessons for City of Miami residents and $65 for 8 lessons for non-City of Miami residents.


 

Broward County Resources

The Children’s Services Council of Broward County has partnered with Broward County’s SWIM Central program to provide a coupon with a value of $40 to help off-set the cost of swimming instruction for children and their families.

Palm Beach County Resources

Classes are for children ages 2-12. They must also be PBC residents, non-swimmers, and Receive EITHER Medicaid, Fl Kid Care, Healthy Kids OR parent/guardian receives food stamps or section 8 housing. Child(ren) who are special needs or a foster child can also qualify as long as requirements 1-3 are met.
