Miami, FL – South Florida PBS (WPBT, WXEL, & Health Channel) Join South Florida PBS tomorrow, June 25th at 6:30PM at the Dolly Hand Cultural Arts Center in Belle Glade for the premiere of On the Town in The Palm Beaches: ‘Exploring the Wild Western Communities!’
In the finale episode of season 7 of On the Town, host Frank Licari leaves the big cities behind as he heads west to check out some of the hidden gems that feature a small-town appeal. From an exhilarating airboat ride to enjoying southern cooking and fishing in Lake O, join Frank as he explores what makes the western communities so special.
Featured businesses include Slim’s Fish Camp, Black Gold Jubilee, Banyan Tree Restaurant, Mr. Shrimp, SkyDive Palm Beach, and more. Frank also explores the Belle Glade Chamber of Commerce, the Belle Glade Municipal Golf Course, and meets with Mayor Steve Wilson.
Enjoy free food and live music during the pre-screening reception. Guests will be the first to watch the premiere of the latest On the Town in The Palm Beaches installment and can ask Frank and the On the Town crew questions during an interactive Q&A after the screening. Don’t miss the broadcast premiere of On the Town in The Palm Beaches: “Exploring the Wild Western Communities” on Thursday, June 27 at 7:30PM on WPBT and Sunday, June 30th at 5PM on WXEL.
