MIAMI, FL -- March 13, 2025 -- South Florida PBS, in partnership with the Doral Contemporary Art Museum (DORCAM), invites you to an elegant evening celebrating women's achievements and the premiere of Marie Antoinette Season 2. The festivities begin at CityPlace Doral with live musical performances, followed by a ceremony honoring exceptional women of Miami-Dade County, and culminate with an exclusive VIP reception at DORCAM. Guests will also experience DORCAM's captivating exhibition, Women of Vision: Photography, It's About Time, showcasing the extraordinary talents and contributions of women photographers.

Join us for a sophisticated evening of French-inspired indulgence featuring champagne toasts, photo opportunities, exquisite French cuisine provided by R Catering and Events, live entertainment, and much more!

As part of the VIP reception, a featured soprano from the Florida Grand Opera will perform select arias from their upcoming production of "Carmen," complementing the evening's French theme and artistic celebration. We are thrilled to partner with The Miami Symphony Orchestra (MISO) on this event. MISO will be sponsoring the live music at our reception, adding to the ambiance as guests immersive themselves in revolutionary France.

Set against the backdrop of a revolutionary France, the highly anticipated second season of Marie Antoinette will delve into the queen's journey as she ascends the throne, only to face ever-increasing dangers. In this new chapter, Marie's political and personal challenges reach new heights, making her position more perilous than ever.

The Marie Antoinette Season 2 premiere will air Sundays, starting March 23rd at 10 PM on WPBT and Wednesdays, starting March 26th at 10 PM on WXEL.
