South Florida PBS honors our veterans with National Memorial Day Concert, a more than three decades long PBS tradition. This PBS staple provides a national night of remembrance and captures the real meaning of the holiday. Tune in for several exceptional programs paying tribute to America’s heroes, Grandpa’s War: Story Goes Viral, The Registry and Remember Pearl Harbor to name a few.
Throughout the month enjoy a wonderful array of music programs including Celebrating 50 Years of Broadway’s Best and Fiddler: Miracles of Miracles providing an in-depth look at the story of the international Broadway blockbuster “Fiddler on the Roof.” This documentary explores the unexpected richness of the themes in the film and its impact across time and cultures.

It’s been three years since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic and while life has returned to pre-pandemic “normal” in many places thousands are still being infected. In COVID-19: What Did We Learn Town Hall, experts will explore what we have learned and what we need to do to prepare for the next widespread disease outbreak.
