Miami, FL – South Florida PBS (WPBT, WXEL, and the Health Channel), is thrilled to announce the landmark 22nd season of the hit show Check, Please! South Florida, hosted by James Beard award-winning Chef Michelle Bernstein. In this season we take a trip down memory lane with episodes filmed on location at previously reviewed South Florida favorite restaurants.
Check, Please! South Florida Season 22 will air on Mondays, starting on April 14th at 7:30PM on WPBT and Wednesdays, starting on April 16th at 5:30PM on WXEL.

Episode 2201: On this season premiere episode, we take a delicious tour of Italy at Midtown Miami favorite Salumeria 104. Vietnamese flavors are explored courtesy of Tâm Tâm in Downtown Miami, and Aegean cuisine takes center stage in Wynwood’s Doya restaurant.
Episode 2202: The Butcher & The Bar in Boynton Beach will show off its gastropub prowess. Bluefin Sushi in Boca will delight tastebuds thanks to their successful fusion of Japanese Sushi & Thai cuisine. And brisket has never looked as good as it does in West Palm Beach’s Tropical Smokehouse.
Episode 2203: Get ready to go on a culinary journey that will take you through the modern and rustic flair of Battubelin in Miami. Wynwood continues to add to its cool factor thanks to the award-winning burgers and chicken of Le Chick. And Ft. Lauderdale has another seafood gem with Even Keel in Las Olas.
Episode 2204: Puerto Rican flavors are showcased by family-owned Isla Del Encanto in Kendall. Coral Gables favorite, Havana Harry’s is ready to serve a delicious Cafecito, and the smoker is ready at Hometown BBQ in Allapatah.
Episode 2205: New American cuisine is deliciously presented by Ravish in Lantana. Family traditions continue to impress at 3G’s Gourmet Deli & Restaurant in Delray Beach. And Indian Cuisine takes center stage in Palm Beach thanks to the authentic flavor of Zeera Indian Cuisine.
Episode 2206: The fresh catch of the day and beautiful views await at Stiltsville Fish Bar in Miami Beach. Charcoal-grilled Cuban fare is served up at Marabú in Miami. And nostalgia is met with delicious pasta at Casa Mia Trattoria in North Miami.
Episode 2207: Downtown Pompano Beach is on the foodie radar thanks to the tantalizing Southern flavors of South Bar & Kitchen. Davie is a seafood destination courtesy of Luc’s Seafood & Grill. And taco fest awaits at Casa Monarca Mexican Restaurant & Tequila Bar in Ft. Lauderdale.
Episode 2208: A husband-and-wife duo are making their own foodie rules at Union Kitchen & Bar in Wilton Manors. Salvadorean dishes are front and center at El Atlakat in Pembroke Pines. From Sicily to New York, Chef Franco of Sette Mezzo in Coconut Creek will be showcasing his impeccable culinary skills.
Episode 2209: Downtown Delray Beach family favorite J&J Seafood Bar and Grill continues to delight locals and newcomers. Classic Indian cuisine awaits in Maya Flavors of India in Boca Raton. And Ramen continues its takeover thanks to the creative flavors and hip style of Ramen Lab Eatery in Boca Raton.
Episode 2210: A one-of-a-kind fusion of flavors await at Tacos & Tattoos in Kendall. Friendship and culinary excellence are a perfect combination in Kendall’s Fratelli by Jholanos. And Chef Carla Dilorenzo continues to carry the family torch at Los Tanitos Meat Market & Restaurant.
