South Florida PBS (WPBT & WXEL) is excited to announce the 13th season of the award-winning series Art Loft. Ten new episodes of Art Loft will be premiering weekly on Tuesdays at 7:30PM on WPBT and Thursdays at 5:30PM on WXEL.
Season 13 will profile artists in all stages of their careers from the Palm Beaches to Miami-Dade, and beyond. Throughout this season, the 30-minute arts program will showcase South Florida artists and offer a taste of the contemporary art scene across the United States. This latest season of Art Loft will highlight visual works, music, dance, film, public art, immersive art, and so much more.
“Our goal is to connect South Florida visual and performance artists, musicians, authors, dreamers, and visionaries with local programming that celebrates the creativity and diversity of our community,” stated Dolores Fernandez Alonso, President and CEO of South Florida PBS “We hope this new season of Art Loft will inform and inspire viewers, with profiles of artistic works that portray our current history, as well as those that offer a glimpse into the future.”
Art Loft is a collaboration between WPBT2 South Florida PBS, local artists and arts institutions, producers, and other PBS stations around the country. We are pleased to continue our content partnerships with local arts groups and institutions like Commissioner.US, Fountainhead Arts, Locust Projects, ICA Miami, the Perez Art Museum Miami (PAMM), the Norton Museum, and the NSU Museum.
Art Loft is made possible by the Friends of South Florida PBS.
