Miami, FL – South Florida PBS (WPBT, WXEL, & Health Channel) invites you to tune in for the broadcast premiere of Labors of Love this Octoberon WPBT & WXEL.

Get an intimate look inside the maternity units at one of the nation’s largest health systems in Miami, Florida. From dancing with moms in labor to rushing to the operating room when emergencies arise, this team is dedicated to their patients every step of the way. Witness the intense, joyful experiences of birth up close, where every day is a birthday, and these superhero nurses do everything they can to make it special.

"While there are numerous programs, both reality and fictional, that highlight doctors and the practice of medicine, few, if any, capture the perspective of nurses—the true backbone of any hospital. Even more rare is a focus on one of the most significant moments in a woman's life: the birth of her child. I’m incredibly proud that we have the opportunity to share these impactful labor and delivery stories." — Joanne Ruggiero, Senior Vice President and Chief Executive Officer of the maternity services featured in the docuseries Labors of Love.

Tune in to South Florida PBS for Labors of Love and experience the dedication and heart of labor and delivery nurses as they guide families through the miracle of life.
