FAQs
Do I need to work in media to join? Not at all! Whether you're in the arts, tech, education, or any field—if you’re curious and engaged, you belong here.
How long does my membership last? How do I renew it? If you join at the $5/ongoing monthly level, your membership automatically renews each month until you tell us otherwise. If you join at the $60/year level, your membership expires one year from the date you joined, and you'll need to renew it each year.
Is my membership tax-deductible? Yes. Your membership supports South Florida PBS, which is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
What’s the time commitment to participate? That’s completely up to you. We’ll let you know of member events and opportunities, and you let us know if you'd like to participate.
Where are events held? Are they in-person, virtual, or both? Most events are currently held in person at various locations across South Florida, including at our studios in Boynton Beach. Some events may be offered virtually, depending on the format and audience.
