Nutcracker on the Indian River

Ballet Vero Beach presents a new take on the classic ballet. The libretto follows the story of young Marie Stahlbaum as she journeys from New York to Vero Beach in December 1919 to spend the holidays with her eccentric Uncle Drosselmeyer. Due to restrictions associated with the pandemic, this program was filmed primarily in outdoor settings with natural lighting and minimal crew.
