South Florida PBS has launched a door-to-door member outreach program, sending professional canvassers into the community to personally remind our neighbors of the important part they play in keeping public television and quality programming available to thousands of people every week.

When you donate through one of our trusted Door to Door representatives, you help further our mission to enrich the lives of South Floridians through engaging and essential programs, services, and community partnerships that inform, enlighten, and entertain.

Do your part and donate to South Florida PBS. Thank you.

FAQs

Why is South Florida PBS knocking on my door?
South Florida PBS relies on financial support from viewers like you to help us keep our unique, commercial-free programs on the air.   Having someone from South Florida PBS  knock on your door is a way for us to talk neighbor-to-neighbor and hear firsthand why you love PBS.  It also lets us share with you why becoming a member and supporter is so important.

How do I know this representative is really from South Florida PBS?
All South Florida PBS Door to Door representatives will be wearing a yellow t-shirt with the South Florida PBS Door to Door logo on it as well as an ID displaying their name and photo. The photos and names of all our Door to Door representatives are listed above.  Please feel free to verify the identity of representatives by checking their photo ID against the list of names and photos on our website.

Why does South Florida PBS need a donation from me?
South Florida PBS  is a nonprofit organization that relies on viewers like you for the majority of our operating support. Without these contributions, public television and the shows you know, enjoy, and trust, wouldn’t exist.

Where does my money go?
Your donation goes directly into our annual operating support budget to pay for general operation of the station, including our PBS membership, community and educational outreach, and all the shows you love 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year.

When will I receive confirmation of my donation?
You’ll receive an email thanking you for your donation within 1 hour (but typically immediately).
